For as long as safety management has existed, it stayed where nobody could see it. That has now changed. There is a sight horizon: as you work, the events that matter come into view.

Why the refusal matters
It never improvises.
In this work a confident wrong answer is worse than an honest empty page. So the tool cites the record it found, or it says plainly that the answer is not in your records. And as your people write a new record, the related history rises to meet them, an aid at the elbow, never a correction. When nothing similar exists, that quiet is information too: what you are writing is genuinely new to the organization.
Crews change out, projects wind down, people move on. The records are what an organization keeps, and they should keep working. We are a young company, and probably among the first in the world to build this into a working management system. Watching a record surface from the depths at exactly the right moment is why the company exists.
